Life in a Day

On 24th July 2010, the residents of the planet were asked to upload a video of their life on YouTube, thus participating in “Life in a Day”, a historic cinematic experiment with the goal of creating a documentary about a single day on Earth. 81,000 videos from 192 countries, clocking up 4,500 hours, comprise the film’s footage, full of emotional, comical and very personal moments of people from Peru and Germany to Australia and Zambia. The Oscarwinning director Kevin McDonald, with the help of producer Ridley Scott, presents the most ambitious audiovisual attempt ever to document the world.
