Bellflower
Two friends spend their time building self-designed flame-throwers and converting their car into a weapon. They’ve formed their imaginary gang named “Mother Medusa” and are feverishly preparing for the day the world will end. When one of them falls madly in love with an attractive girl, his priorities shift and suddenly the end of the world seems more personal than ever. This meta-apocalyptic vision of director/screenwriter/star Evan Glodell takes shape on screen, defying any cinematic classification and can be described as the new, indie, bastard child of “Mad Max”. Made out of testosterone and brain disorder products, fitted with genuinely anarchic intentions and filled with pure violence, “Bellflower” is an explosive cocktail that will make you laugh in the face of ruin and taste the charm of aversion, but will not let you forget it for a single moment.
