Even for those familiar with the story of the Pink Floyd and Syd Barrett, this is the first time the story is told in such detail from the mouth of those who experienced the self-destructive whirlpool the enigmatic Barrett was. David Gilmour, Roger Waters and Nick Mason, through interviews and never-before-seen documents, attempt their own interpretation. Describing him as the ‘aggressively intelligent’ leader of a subterranean revolt, as the abyss’ guiding light and the rarest of gems that was soon to be lost to schizophrenia (thus inspiring the legendary ‘Wish You Were Here’ later on), they only manage to magnify even further the legend of this most shining of the crazy diamonds of psychedelia. RODDY BOGAWA & STORM THORGERSON (1944-2013)
Bogawa is a New York filmmaker. He received his MFA from the University of California in San Diego and later on attended the Independent Study Program at Whitney Museum of American Art. His work has been screened globally in festivals and exhibitions.

Thorgerson is perhaps the most important graphic designer in the history of rock music. Teenage friend of Barrett, Gilmour and Waters, creator of Hipgnosis. This documentary could not have happened without his contributions.
