Marking the 50th anniversary of the first “Saturday Night Live” broadcast, a spine-tingling, dizzying tribute chronicles in real time the chaotic 90 minutes that led to the birth of modern comedy and the emergence of a talent goldmine which proved that revolution may and sometimes does play out on live television.

JASON REITMAN
Canadian-American film director and screenwriter. Born in 1977, he grew up on the sets of his influential father, Ivan ("Ghostbusters"), and later majored in English and Creative Writing at the University of Southern California. A four-time Academy Award nominee.
