How do we understand ‘cult’ and which films have shaped the term for the Greek audience? Is cult something subjective? Objective? Is it introduced through a group of fanatic believers? How is this blind following to a cinematic work cultivated, and what qualifies a film ‘worthy’ to be loved unconditionally? "Worship" explores the cult phenomenon mainly through the Greek films "Tsiou…" by Makis Papadimitratos, "Spirtokouto" by Yannis Economides, "As Perimenoun oi Gynaikes!" by Stavros Tsiolis and the episode "Vietnam" from Pantelis Voulgaris' "Ola Einai Dromos", gathering testimonies of filmmakers and contributors, as well as people from the media and art world, and along with other references and citations completing an enthusiastic journey to the meaning of this misunderstood term.
