BANKSY MOST WANTED
The ideal unofficial companion to the Oscar-nominated “Exit Through the Gift Shop”, a thorough portrait of the most enigmatic yet established figure of street art, a stimulating commentary on the contemporary meaning of art and its commercialisation but most of all a documentary that will do anything to answer the following viral question: who in the world is Banksy?
The film is also available for screening on festival's digital platform. For additional information please visit online.aiff.gr.

'No one was listening until they didn’t know who I was'. The famously anonymous Banksy is a street artist who enjoys more popularity than any other painter in history. His works have been appearing with the appropriate message on the appropriate wall in the appropriate time for almost three decades now.
The first question that ‘Banksy Most Wanted’ deals with is that of an investigative documentary: Who is Banksy? But before getting to the answer, some exciting questions regarding Art arise. Can art change our lives without becoming a capitalist showpiece of snobbish collectors? Does the name of the artist undermine the message? A witty, insightful, exciting documentary, even more exciting for those who think it doesn’t concern them. I.D.
