Mila and Marcel seem like the perfect couple. But when they finally decide to live together, they discover they no more share sexual longing. Mila, unable to explain to her partner the nature of the dysfunction, attempts to recall the years of her adolescent sexual awakening. Elena Martin takes on the courageous task of directing, writing and playing the film’s protagonist, exposes herself to the fullest, and delivers with dare and psychoanalytic tendency the chronicle of a delayed sexual coming of age so as to reveal an accumulation of humiliation and unspoken feelings of a woman in search of authentic desire. ELENA MARTÍN
Spanish director/actress, born in Barcelona, in 1992. She earned her degree in Audiovisual Communication from The Pompeu Fabra University. She starred on film in 2016 and made her directing debut in 2017, winning an award in Malaga FF. This is her sophomore effort.
