Jules, an impressive drag performer in a London club, sees his world crumble when he is violently attacked attempting to push back the homophobic slur of a group of young people. Sometime later, however, among the regulars of a gay sauna, Jules recognizes the head of the group and organizes a daring revenge plan which will endanger his life. A tense thriller, and a very sexually bold noir, in which the themes of sexuality, identity, complicated role of clothes in our social definition and the toxic ma'/le/female stereotypes serve a suspenseful plot. Nathan Stewart-Jarrett of ‘Misfits’ is superb in the central role. L.K.

Writer/director. He worked in television while, in cooperation with Ng Ping, they delivered their short ‘Femme’ which is a precursor to their homonymous feature film debut.

NG CHOON PING
Awarded director, a graduate from York University. He is originally from Singapore, where he has worked with the Singapore Repertory Theatre. This is also his feature film debut.
